Public opinion of what pathologists do is most frequently shaped by TV programmes such as CSI and Silent Witness creating a huge gap between perception and reality. Last Saturday’s Guardian Money section contained an interesting career profile of a pathologist as part of it’s ‘A working life’ feature.

The British Council has launched the UK-US New Partnership Fund to develop new strategic links between UK and US Higher Education Institutions. The fund aims to promote researcher mobility, collaborative projects, and extend existing UK-US partnerships to other countries.
