Career review datasets

As part of our project focusing on careers in immunology, we have made the datasets that we collected available for all to view.  These data are made available under a Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0. This means you are free to share and adapt the data but you must provide an appropriate credit to the British Society for Immunology and indicate if any changes were made.  If you have any queries or would like any further information, please contact careers@immunology.org


Career destinations and academic immunology workforce

This is the full report from Freshney Consulting who carried out the research and analysis on the thesis author tracking data and the HESA data.  These data cover information on the career destinations of immunology PhD students gained from analysing a dataset provided by the British Library E-thesis online service (EThOS) and the immunology workforce in UK academia, gained from data provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).

Career mapping survey

This is a re-analysis of the answers provided to question 25 in the survey, looking at respondents' opinions on factors that will affect the recruitment and retention of the UK's immunology workforce.  In this analysis, we have removed the responses which stated "Not applicable" to each question
