The British Society for Immunology's Wessex Immunology Group is hosting their annual Spring Meeting on Wednesday 3rd April June 2019 entitled “Immunoregulation”
The theme of the meeting is “Immunoregulation” by which we mean any research that encompasses immunoregulation, whether this being activation or inhibition, and how this can be exploited to target the immune response to infectious and inflammatory diseases.
Achieving the correct level of activation of the immune system is pivotal for an optimal immune response to any event without any unwanted side effects. The meeting will address how to achieve this correct level between interactions between B and T lymphocytes and macrophages/dendritic cells and how this can potentially can be exploited for therapeutic usage in the future.
