COVID-19 vaccination and pregnancy

On this page you will find an infographic about COVID-19 vaccination in pregnancy. We worked with expert reproductive immunologist, Dr Viki Male from Imperial College London to explain the latest evidence that COVID-19 vaccines in pregnancy are safe and effective. The benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks of COVID-19 during pregnancy.

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended in pregnancy and it's the best way to protect yourself and your unborn baby from the known risks of COVID-19 during pregnancy. All stages of pregnancy are a clinical risk factor for COVID-19. If you are pregnant during the booster season, you will be offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine.

By understanding and addressing vaccine concerns that are prominent in public discussion and may lead to hesitancy towards vaccination, the BSI hopes to provide expert information to help everyone make informed decisions about vaccines and their health. Scroll down to discover more, click the download link to print the graphic or share on social media tagging @britsocimm to help strengthen public understanding.
