The BSI Summer School 2022 is a three-day residential masterclass on all things immunology, covering the latest developments in the field and featuring talks on key areas of immunology research from leading speakers.
This event is the perfect opportunity for people at PhD level (or at postdoc level if entering the field of immunology) and the industry/clinical equivalents to enhance their immunology knowledge and have valuable time interacting with senior scientists working within the field.
It will take place from Monday 11 July to Wednesday 13 July in Coventry, UK at the DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry hotel.
The event consists of scientific sessions (and a chance to ask questions) with leading UK immunology researchers as well as career and wellbeing related sessions and lightning-round presentations from attendees. There will be multiple opportunities for attendees to network with each other and invited speakers during the event as well as at the more informal social events in the evening.
Delegates will benefit from scientific talks on a wide range of immunology topics including the latest research on COVID-19, cancer immunotherapy, ageing, vaccine development and innate immunity amongst many other topics. The event is also an invaluable opportunity for delegates to build their presentation skills in a friendly and inclusive environment through lightning-round presentations.
We have extended the deadline to submit an abstract for the opportunity to showcase your work in a short oral presentation. New deadline: Monday 30 May at 23:59 BST
All BSI events will continue to prioritise the health and safety of our members, delegates, and staff in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, please read our COVID-19 guidance here.
