Mathematical modelling in immunology

Microsoft Research Lab, Cambridge, UK
Thursday, 7 June, 2018 - 09:00 to Friday, 8 June, 2018 - 17:00

The British Society for Immunology's Mathemathical Modelling Affinity Group is pleased to bring you 'Mathematical modelling in immunology' taking place on 7-8 June 2018 in Cambridge, UK.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists working in the areas of experimental and theoretical immunology, to discuss current challenges on human immunology. The main goals of the meeting will be:

  • to bring together researchers and clinicians from a variety of backgrounds to discuss the importance of modelling and mathematical approaches in immunology
  • to encourage inter-disciplinary (specifically mathematics and immunology) discussions in order to guide the development of new mathematical models, given the experimental and clinical data
  • to expose post-graduate students, working in this area, to current immunological challenges and open questions.

More information will be available shortly.
