To celebrate World Immunology Day, the BSI have teamed up with the Francis Crick Institute and Nature Research to present ‘How our immune system fights cancer’.
This is a free, public event which will see the award-winning broadcaster, writer and lecturer Claudia Hammond chair a panel of six highly-renowned research scientists and clinicians as they discuss how the immune system plays a key role in the hunting-down and killing of cancer cells. Discover how scientists are working to harness this superpower to treat the disease – also known as immunotherapy – as well as putting any questions you may have about cancer immunotherapy to our panel.
After the discussion, you can join us for a reception where, over free refreshments, you can chat to our panelists, other immunologists and event attendees about the topic in a more relaxed setting.
Registration is free for this event. Please visit the EventBrite page to register
