The British Society for Immunology (BSI) is delighted to offer travel grants of up to £300 to BSI members attending the BSI–CIPN Conference taking place on 9-10 December 2024, Birmingham UK. To find out more about the BSI- CIPN Conference, visit the event page here.

The maximum travel grant available is £300.
This is based on UK applicants, if you are an overseas applicant the rates will be applied according to your place of residence. Please contact us at membership@immunology.org if you have any queries.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply:
- Applicants must be current paid-up BSI members who have held membership for a minimum period of six months.
- All recipients of a travel award must be members at the time of travel
- Grants cannot be awarded retrospectively.
- Applicants must register for the BSI - CIPN Conference before the grant is issued

Terms and conditions
- You will be required to acknowledge the Society for their financial support on your poster and or oral presentation as well as displaying the Society’s logo (if applicable). Please email membership@immunology.org for this.
- Successful recipients are required to submit the following within one month after the meeting: receipts for travel, event registration, accommodation etc. up to award received.
- The grant awarded will be up to a maximum of £300 per applicant
- An applicant may only be awarded one BSI -CIPN Conference Grant within each 12-month period. This does not affect your ability to apply for any other BSI grant schemes including the BSI Conference Travel Grant and BSI Regional & Affinity Conference Grants.
- This grant scheme involves funding travel, and we expect recipients to adhere all relevant travel guidance both from the UK and/or devolved nations as applicable.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
Please note that failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in a voided application and all monies to be refunded to the Society and/or the rejection of future applications
Although the BSI endeavours to award as many travel grants to members as possible, the high level of demand will result in some applications not being successful.
