The British Society for Immunology is proud to announce our Carers’ Grant for attendance at the BSI Congress 2026 taking place on Monday 30 November to Thursday 3 December 2026 in Glasgow. The grant of up to £300 can be used to help cover the cost of care arrangements during Congress, for example, to look after children, or for additional care for the applicant themselves during the meeting.

Applications for this grant close on Monday 7 September 2025.
Value
The maximum amount awarded through this grant scheme is £300.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply:
- Available to Full, Early Careers and Postgraduate members, these carers' grants assist with care arrangements during your attendance during BSI Congress
- You must be a current, paid-up member who has held BSI membership for a minimum period of 12 months (two consecutive membership subscription payments)
- Applicants must register for Congress before the grant is issued
Payment
- Proof of registration to be received before the grant is paid
- The BSI will pay all successful grants directly to your bank account
Please note that failure to comply with the terms and conditions may result in the Society asking for monies awarded to be refunded and/or future applications denied.
Although the BSI endeavours to award as many travel grants to members as possible, the high level of demand will result in some applications being unsuccessful.
