The British Society for Immunology has experienced an exciting 12 months and we're delighted to bring you our new Annual Review, showcasing the activities and achievements of the Society over that time. With our new strategic plan well underway, the past year has seen the organisation achieve some important milestones, both in terms of the support and activities that we provide for our members and our work engaging with the wider world to put immunology centre stage in the public arena.
Highlights include our 60th anniversary celebrations, the development of our new website and membership database and the launch of a host of activities to provide additional careers support and recognition to members. Additionally, who can forget our joint Congress with the Dutch Society for Immunology in Liverpool, which attracted over 1,500 delegates.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the support of our members. Be it through volunteering on our committees and boards, editing our journals, running our Regional and Affinity groups or helping us with media, policy and public engagement activities, our members are the lifeblood of the Society. We’re incredibly grateful to you all for your help and support throughout the year.
You can download the full Annual Review from our website to discover more about how the BSI has made a difference for immunology in the last year. Print copies will also be available on the Society’s stand at Congress, so do pop along to pick up a copy and talk to us about how you can get involved with our work.
