We're delighted to announce that Professor Adrian Hayday will join us as the keynote speaker at BSI Congress 2026, taking place from 30 November to 3 December at SEC Glasgow.
A Principal Group Leader at the Francis Crick Institute and Kay Glendinning Professor Emeritus at King's College London, Professor Hayday's pioneering research has transformed our understanding of gamma delta (γδ) T cells, revealing their unique role in protecting the body from cancer and infection and opening up new opportunities for immunotherapies and treatments for inflammatory disease.
Professor Hayday is a Fellow of the Royal Society and served as President of the British Society for Immunology (BSI) from 2005 to 2009. In 2026, he received the European Federation of Immunological Societies (EFIS) and Serono Symposia International (SPI) Distinguished International Lecture Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to immunology.
