The British Society for Immunology is proud to offer our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion activity grant scheme to help fund activities and events that promote diversity and inclusion across the immunology community and the wider biomedical sciences.
These inspiring activities aim to influence culture change and increase visibility with respect to equality, diversity and inclusion. By providing these grants, we can support various activities that will create a more diverse, fair and inclusive immunology community.
Projects funded in 2024
The BSI is delighted to fund the following projects in the 2024 round of this grant scheme:
- Laura Eghobamien, Black Medical Scientific Network, Celebrating Diversity in Science
- Matthew Sinton, The STEM Village, Immunology Symposium for LGBTQ+ immunologists
Congratulations to the awardees of this year's grant. The review panel noted the strength of the applications and we look forward to seeing these projects and activities progress in the coming year. We would also like to thank the review panel judges for their hard work and diligence in marking the applications.
