Promoting neuroimmunology – searching for young talent

The BSI's Neuroimmunology Affinity Group is looking to recruit a new treasurer, secretary and ordinary members.

Although the brain is considered an immune-privileged organ, there is a clear interaction between the immune system and the function of the nervous system in many disorders of the peripheral and central nervous systems.  Promoting neuroimmunology in a world where neurodegenerative diseases are rapidly becoming a major concern has not been difficult.  However, the BSI's Neuroimmunology Affinity Group is very eager to recruit young talent and implement new directions. For this reason we would like to invite applications for the positions of treasurer, secretary and ordinary members.

You can find out more about the work of the Group on their webpage. To apply, you must be a BSI member.  Please send your CV and a motivation letter outlining of why you would like to get involved in the group and what you could bring to the position to Group Chair, Professor Sandra Amor, at s.amor@vumc.nl
