60 years of immunology – this report, published in October 2016, summarises the key achievements of immunological research since the BSI’s inception in 1956. It discusses main areas where immunology has and will have a significant impact on our understanding of human and animal biology, our ability to treat and even cure common diseases and our capacity to deal with emerging health threats on a global scale.
