The British Society for Immunology media office handles press enquiries about the Society’s work and about stories related to the immune system and immunology. We also provided a press office function for the BSI’s official journals Immunology and Clinical & Experimental Immunology.

The British Society for Immunology has basic scientist and clinical spokespeople available for interview on all topics related to immunology. Please contact our press office for more details. Please note, we are unable to provide case studies for stories.

60 years of immunology – this report, published in October 2016, summarises the key achievements of immunological research since the BSI’s inception in 1956. It discusses main areas where immunology has and will have a significant impact on our understanding of human and animal biology, our ability to treat and even cure common diseases and our capacity to deal with emerging health threats on a global scale.

BSI position statements and consultation responses – our policy and public affairs section provides information on the BSI’s views on key issues relating to immunology.
