The new edition of Immunology News, the British Society for Immunology's magazine, is now available to read for free on our website. For the first time, we have made the online version of our magazine available for everyone to read. We hope that this will help to spread the word about the wonderful work of our members and allow the publication to have more reach and impact.
In this issue, we hear from our new Comparative Veterinary Immunology Affinity Group on their plans for the future and the exciting new conferences they have coming up. We also talk to Tracey Hussell to find out more about Manchester's new Lydia Becker Institute for Immunology and Inflammation, which is opening soon. You can also find out more about our recent projects to support our members throughout their careers and represent immunology on a wider stage, including our mentoring scheme and public engagement activities.
Additionally, we have a round up of all recent Society news and BSI President Peter Openshaw reflects on the progress we have made against our strategic plan to date and also welcomes our new Chief Executive, Doug Brown, to the organisation.
