Our first Immune Therapies Summit

Immune Therapies Summit banner and people walking past

This November, we hosted the first ever BSI Immune Therapies Summit, bringing together experts from industry, academia and clinical spheres to discuss the latest developments in immune therapies.

The Summit took place at Hinxton Hall, Cambridge, and saw over 140 professionals from across the field come together to discuss challenges in the field, network and hear from leading experts. Cross-disease collaboration that encompasses industry, research and clinical disciplines is rare, and we are proud to have brought together a diverse range of delegates during the Summit. It was a fantastic event, where attendees forged new collaborations, shared intel on challenges and developments in the field, and inspired one another with their stories.

The event offered a great variety of topics, encompassing both autoimmune diseases and cancer. I really appreciated this approach, as it bridged two fields that are often treated separately.

It was very interesting to gain insight of how things worked at other companies and how people from academia approached the questions compared to people from industry.

Most valuable was the chance to connect and discuss with delegates you might have not thought of connecting with otherwise.
