Tregs in Cancer: Where are we now?

There have been substantial strides forward in our understanding of the contribution of Tregs to cancer immunosuppression. In this Review Series, Series Editors Awen Gallimore, Sergio A. Quezada & Rahul Roychoudhuri present papers highlighting emerging themes on this topic relevant not only to our understanding of the fundamental biology of tumour immunosuppression but also to the design of new immunotherapeutic approaches.

Regulatory T cells: exploring mechanisms for future therapies

In this Review Series, Guest Editor Ciriaco A. Piccirillo has invited experts to contribute review articles on the recent progress in understanding the genetic basis of regulatory T cell functional development, their role in ensuring tolerance in health, the mechanisms underlying their dysfunction in diseased states and their use in cellular therapies for the treatment of a host inflammatory conditions in humans.
