Rise in allergies discussed on BBC

Immunology, and in particular allergy, has featured prominently in the news this morning (26 September). BBC Radio 4 Today presenter John Humphreys interviewed BSI Trustee and spokesperson Professor Sheena Cruickshank from the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation at The University of Manchester about the current rise in the number of allergies, the possible reasons behind this and whether health service provision is keeping up with demand.  Professor Cruickshank then appeared on BBC Breakfast to discuss the rise in allergies with presenters Dan Walker and Louise Minchin.
