These grants are funded through the provision of an educational grant from Grifols, who have not influenced the development of these grants. They will not be involved in the assessment of applications or any associated activities.
The British Society for Immunology Clinical Immunology Professional Network (BSI-CIPN) is pleased to offer Clinical Audit Grants.
Scope
Applications should focus on a clinical audit activity related to an area of clinical immunology practice within the UK.
Funding requests may include salaries, equipment, and travel costs where they are part of the clinical audit project. Funding is not available for travel to present findings at meetings or otherwise disseminate the results of the study. (This type of funding is available through a BSI Conference Travel Grant.) Departmental overheads are not eligible to be included in the funding request.
How does it work?
We can provide funding of up to £5,000 for grants to support a clinical audit activity within clinical immunology. This is a competitive grant and all applications are assessed by our dedicated grant panel, comprising experts from clinical immunology working across different professions.
Eligibility
The primary applicant must be a fully paid up member of the BSI-CIPN to be eligible to apply for these grants. Applications can be from UK NHS clinical staff at any grade (or devolved nation equivalent), including clinical trainees, nursing staff and laboratory staff, and from individuals working for either adult or paediatric services. Both single site and multi-site applications are welcome.
This scheme is only open to UK-based (home address and place of employment) BSI-CIPN members from paying categories of membership. Undergraduate members are not eligible to apply.
