BSI Yorkshire Immunology Group

The Yorkshire Immunology Group (YIG) is a regional group of the British Society for Immunology, which runs an annual programme of meetings aiming to provide a focus for discussion and interaction within the Yorkshire immunology community. Currently, each year we have a single half-day meeting that is hosted by the Universities of Leeds, York and Sheffield on a rotational basis. This symposium is comprised of speakers from within Yorkshire with one outside speaker delivering a keynote address. In the local symposium, post-docs and PhD students deliver the majority of talks, providing an excellent opportunity for them to showcase their work and develop their presentation skills. Guest speakers are also invited to give one-off talks at each of the host Universities. For full details please follow the links to the group’s events or join our mailing list to be kept informed of upcoming events.
