This full-day, online, laboratory induction course is being offered by the BSI and ACP in partnership. It is aimed at trainees in both ACI and ACLI curriculum, and clinical scientists. The day will cover insights into clinical immunology laboratory training including a virtual tour for different sections, RCPath Part 2 exam structure, and the role of the consultant in the lab.
A panel of medical and scientist consultants will provide insightful perspectives on the delivery of clinical immunology laboratory service and training in different labs across the country, with opportunities for trainees to ask questions.
Registration
To register, you need to meet the following criteria:
- be an ACP or BSI member* and
- be a medical trainee/ specialist registrar in immunology and allergy intending to sit or having passed the ACICE and/or FRCPath examination or
- be a clinical scientist (immunology) intending to sit the FRCPath examination or
- be a biomedical scientist (immunology) intending to sit the FRCPath examination
- *If you are not a member of either organisation and you meet the other criteria, you can register for a small fee (currently £50) per session
