The BSI West of Scotland Immunology Group (WSIG) showcase is an opportunity to meet with colleagues and hear about some fantastic immunology! The showcase includes the 9th Delphine Parrott memorial talk that celebrates Delphine Parrott, a dedicated immunology researcher and teacher who was the first woman to be a professor at the University of Glasgow. It will take place at the Wolfson Medical School Building, University of Glasgow.

We are delighted to welcome two amazing speakers:

Dr Laura Pallett, UKRI Future Leaders Fellow at University College London whose lab examine how communication between T cells and stromal cells in the liver impact on fibrosis.

Professor Maggie Harnett, University of Glasgow, who will present this year’s Delphine Parrott Memorial Lecture. Prof Harnett’s research interests span many areas including the anti-inflammatory properties of nematode secretory products in allergic, autoimmune and the co-morbidities associated with ageing.

We are excited to host a poster session with refreshments at the showcase, giving everyone the opportunity to present their recent research. All attendees are encouraged to bring a poster, and we will have prizes for the top two! Poster sessions will run from 15:00–16:00 and 17:00–18:00 BST with refreshments.

Please indicate on the registration form if you plan to bring a poster and whether it is portrait or landscape.
