The workshop:
The Improving Quality in Allergy Services (IQAS) and Quality in Primary Immunodeficiency Services (QPIDS) accreditation programmes at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) are delivering this joint workshop for resident doctors training in allergy and clinical immunology.
Clinical audits and quality improvement are key components in both accreditation programmes, this workshop will equip trainees with necessary tools to assist in this aspect of their service’s accreditation journey. This practical workshop will be facilitated by our IQAS clinical lead, Dr Nasreen Khan, our QPIDS clinical Dr Sarah Goddard as well as RCP educationalists with expert knowledge in QI.
The workshop will start with didactic learning around key factors required for a successful audit and move onto tablework focusing on ideas for audit projects, creating audit templates and data collection tools.
