The International Union of Immunological Societies (IUIS) Congress is the world’s leading conference in the field of immunology attracting over 5,000 immunologists from 70 countries. Every three years the IUIS Congress assembles immunologists from industry, university, health providers and independent research organizations.
Given the COVID-19 situation in South Africa, IUIS has decided to postpone the planned 2022 Congress to the new date of 27 November to 2 December 2023.
IUIS 2023 will be hosted by the South African Immunology Society and the Federation of African Immunology Societies. The motto for IUIS 2023 is 'Turn discoveries into treatments' and the Congress promises to significantly extend the knowledge of all delegates – from those who are in the early stages of their career to globally-renowned opinion leaders.
