The third London infection network for ECRs (LINE) symposium will be held on the 9 June 2025 at the Francis Crick Institute in London. This free one-day symposium is a celebration of ECR-led infection research and open to all scientists from students to principle investigators.

Beyond ECR-talks selected from submitted abstracts, we will be joined by our invited speakers Prof. Amaya Bustinduy (London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, London), and Dr. Joe Grove (Centre for Virus Research, University of Glasgow), as well as a careers panel joined by Dr. Henry Blest, Dr. Tina Chowdhury, Dr. Cat Gale, Dr. Peter Hill, Aimé Palomeras, and Dr. Catrin Beetham who will be discussing their career paths within and outside of academia.

We will also be hearing about the work of the grassroots initiative, Carers in STEMM, which advocates for equitable and accessible support for those balancing caring and career.
