We're delighted to announce that applications are now open for the next round of our Career Enhancing Grants, our scheme which aims to provide an extra level of careers support to our members. This application round will close on Monday 27 March 2023 at 23:59 BST.
Immunology is a growing and dynamic discipline. As such, those working in the field require a huge range of skills and knowledge to effectively adapt to the ever-changing landscape. With the BSI Career Enhancing Grants, we aim to provide flexible financial support to help immunologists grasp the opportunities and tackle the challenges in their path.
This scheme aims to provide valuable support to BSI members at all career stages, across different areas and reaching sectors beyond academia. This grant initiative complements our wider career development offering for our members. The end goal? To give your career a boost and help you achieve your full potential through individually tailored support.
In 2021, we launched the BSI Career Enhancing Grants to provide an extra level of career support to members at different career stages and from different sectors. Since then we have awarded 36 grants to BSI members. Projects have varied from generating pilot data to attending training courses, visiting labs abroad to learn specific techniques and much more. You can explore these previous award winners to find out more about some of the projects and activities funded.
