We're delighted to announce that the 2025 British Society for Immunology Congress will be held in Liverpool from Monday 1 to Thursday 4 December 2025.
Our Congress Committee is actively working on the scientific programme for 2025 and has confirmed the plenary session themes which are listed below.
All BSI members are invited to submit parallel session proposals by Tuesday 1 October 2024.
BSI Congress 2025 plenary sessions
- Challenging humans - infections, vaccines and allergens
- Is a cure possible to autoimmunity?
- What's hot in cancer immunology?
- Innervating immunity… Advances at the neuro-immune interface
- Immunology in the balance
- Barrier, bugs and breakdowns
The Congress Committee encourages BSI members to discuss and forward session proposals through one of our many BSI Regional and Affinity Groups. If you need assistance connecting with a Regional & Affinity Group or have any questions about submitting a topic, please email congress@immunology.org.
The Committee requests proposals for 1 hr 45 min sessions to maximise the number of topics that can be accepted. If you feel your topic may warrant a double session, please contact us before pursuing this line of proposal. If you have a topic suggestion or session proposal you'd like to put forward, we recommend you discuss your ideas as soon as possible with a relevant BSI Regional or Affinity Group. Although it is not mandatory to submit a proposal with the support of one of the Groups, it is encouraged.
The British Society for Immunology strives to build a scientific programme of diverse speakers. Proposals are expected to ensure diversity across the selection of speakers and chairs, considering representation of people from all backgrounds, in line with the BSI's Diversity & Inclusion framework.
To submit a proposal, please complete the parallel session proposal form by Tuesday 1 October 2024.
If you have any questions, please reach out to congress@immunology.org.
