As a number of British Society for Immunology Clinical Immunology Professional Network (BSI-CIPN) Steering Group roles come to the end of their terms in December 2026, the network is beginning the process of appointing new leadership to guide its next phase of work.

The BSI-CIPN Steering Group plays a central role in shaping clinical guidelines, influencing policy and supporting education and training across the clinical immunology community. Its leadership is key to guiding this work and ensuring it reflects the needs of clinicians and patients.

As part of this transition, the BSI-CIPN has appointed Dr Suzy Elcombe as incoming Chair and Dr Patrick Yong as Deputy Chair of its Steering Group. In line with the network’s governance, these appointments have been made by the Steering Group from its elected members.
