Allied Healthcare professionals provide a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic and support services in connection with healthcare. There are 14 allied health professions as defined by the NHS: Art therapists, Drama therapists, Music therapists, Chiropodists/podiatrists, Dietitians, Occupational therapists, Operating Department Practitioners, Orthoptists, Osteopaths, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiographers and Speech and language therapists.

BSI Clinical Immunology Professional Network

Professionals and trainees who work within clinical immunology are welcome to apply to join our BSI Clinical Immunology Professional Network (BSI-CIPN) at no extra cost. To do so, please fill out the relevant sections on the membership application form. Applications to join the BSI-CIPN are subject to approval from the BSI-CIPN Steering Group. All applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis, and you will be notified of the outcome in due course.

Concessionary

Any member who is on a career break for at least six months and Full Members who earn less than £25,000 per annum can apply for a 60% discount on their membership fees. 

Low-income countries

Members in low-income countries can apply for free membership. This is available for members who are living and working in a country defined as a low-income economy by the World Bank

Refugee status and those seeking asylum 

Members with refugee status and those seeking asylum in the UK can apply for free membership. This is available for members who meet the UK Government definition of refugee in the Refugee Convention and have been issued with refugee status documentation, members in the UK under the Homes for Ukraine scheme for the duration of the scheme (currently 3 years) and members who have left their country of origin and formally applied for asylum in the UK but whose refugee application is being processed.
