We regret to inform our members and the wider immunology community that the BSI Congress 2020 has been postponed until 2021 in light of the Coronavirus pandemic. In its place, we are excited to run an online scientific conference in December 2020.

Today (4 June 2020) the UK hosts Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance's virtual donor pledging conference to mobilise at least US $7.4 billion to protect the next generation through vaccination. The BSI is proud to support Gavi's mission through our Celebrate Vaccines initiative.

The Academy of Medical Sciences has launched a new database for early stage UK COVID-19 preclinical therapeutics research, to boost collaboration and map the preclinical discovery landscape. The British Society for Immunology is a supporter of this project.

This week (24 - 30 April 2020) marks World Immunisation Week. We're very excited to continue our Celebrate Vaccines campaign! We have pooled a range of activities and resources related to immunisation and will be posting on social media throughout the week. Join with the official hashtag #CelebrateVaccines!

Elections for vacancies on our committees open on Tuesday 31 march. We encourage all BSI members to vote by Friday 24 April.
