Vacancy: Editor-in-Chief, Clinical & Experimental Immunology

We are seeking a new Editor-in-Chief for our leading international journal Clinical & Experimental Immunology.

Responsible for the overall content, editorial policy, and reputation of the journal, the Editor-in-Chief is supported by six Section Editors, section editorial teams and the BSI’s editorial office. We are looking for someone who can provide visionary leadership, foster a culture of excellence and plan for the journal’s growth.

Established in 1966, Clinical & Experimental Immunology is among the foremost journals in the field of translational immunology, attracting high quality papers from across the world. Articles cover basic and clinical investigations into the immunological basis of a wide range of human pathologies including autoimmunity, inflammatory diseases, primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, infectious diseases, cancer and neuroimmune conditions. Clinical & Experimental Immunology is part of the BSI’s family of journals, which also includes Immunotherapy Advances and Discovery Immunology.

This role is an opportunity to lead a committed editorial team and pave the way for outstanding contributions to the field of translational immunology. It would suit an academic with a strong publishing record in translational or clinical immunology, excellent networking skills and a keen eye for detail. 

The role requires approximately 0.5 to 1 day per week. Please read the job description to find out more.
