The British Society for Immunology Winter School is a residential event which provides MSc students with the opportunity to hear from leading immunology researchers working across the UK. Each Winter School is a multi-day event, which usually consists of scientific talks, career discussions and interactive tasks, and it aims to provide attendees with the experience of attending a conference-type event and hearing from some of the UK's leading immunologists.
Attendance is usually restricted to MSc students (or those at equivalent level in industry or other areas) due to the nature of the talks being given and atmosphere we wish to create.
The BSI Winter School is usually in early December and only takes place one out of every three years, when the BSI Congress is not occurring. As such, this year's event will take place at the Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel in Sheffield from Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 December 2024.
