The BSI Immunology Awards recognise those advancing the field and enabling immunology to thrive, and further our mission to provide sector-leading support to immunologists from all levels and sectors.
We invite our members and immunologists around the world to shine a spotlight on the stars shaping our future.
You will have the opportunity to raise recognition of the exceptional people working hard, publicly or behind the scenes, to deliver positive outcomes for health in a variety of ways, including at different career stages and sectors.
Nominations can be made via self-nomination or for colleagues. This is your chance to celebrate and inspire others!
*Nominations are closed and registration is now open for the BSI Immunology Awards Ceremony*
The winners of the awards will be announced at the inaugural BSI Immunology Awards Ceremony, taking place at the BSI's 'Transforming the immunology landscape' event on Thursday 20 April 2023 at the Royal College of Physicians, London. Click here to find out more and to register.
Here you can see the finalists for six award categories.
Please note, there are three categories* for which a shortlist won’t be released, including the BSI Outstanding Leadership Award for which we have decided not to release a shortlist or announce any winners this year due to the overall lack of diverse representation in the submissions received – click here to find out more about the selection process.
If you have any queries, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are nine award categories, seven of which are open for nominations and two shortlisted by the BSI staff and BSI committee members, and reviewed by the BSI Nominations Committee. Scroll down to see the awards and click through to find out more about the eligibility criteria and nominations process for each.
In line with our Diversity & Inclusion framework, we encourage nominations that reflect the diversity of our community. To ensure we continue fostering a culture within immunology that ensures fair treatment and opportunity for all, we particularly welcome nominees from underrepresented groups and diverse backgrounds.
